Date Night! Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd Share a Smooch on Red Carpet
The honeymoon phase has no end in sight for Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd.
The Dancing with the Stars alums attended LaPalme Magazine‘s party in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, and couldn’t keep their eyes — and hands — off of each other.
While walking the red carpet at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, the couple stared affectionately at one another with wide smiles, posing for photos before sealing the moment with a smooch.
Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd, who share 2-year-old son Shai Aleksander, first met in 2009 when they were both cast in the Broadway production of Burn the Floor, but it took some time for a romantic relationship to develop. They got engaged in December of 2015, before officially tying the knot in 2017 — with two separate ceremonies.
“I knew he was the one. There was something so electric between us that people will still tell me about to this day,” Murgatroyd wrote in an Instagram post on the anniversary of their courthouse ceremony two years ago. “I love you @maksimc, this has been an incredible, outrageous year for us! I pray we are this happy for the rest of our lives. You’re everything I knew you were.”
