- Today, the place where Daunte Wright died turned into a space for healing.

Several community organizations gathered there today to offer prayer, art, music, and food to anyone dealing with the grief and trauma of Wright's death and the loss of other Black lives. Organizers say it's important to stand together in solidarity, no matter what.

SHA CAGE: I think we have to show up even when we're tired, even when we're distraught, even when we're emotionally stressed. When we lose our brothers and sisters in this fight, we have to show up.

- Today's event surrounded the memorial at the spot where Wright was shot. Two similar events actually happened at the same time, one in St. Paul and one at 38th and Chicago, where George Floyd died.

Daunte Wright's funeral is Thursday at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in North Minneapolis. Reverend Al Sharpton will deliver the eulogy.

We'll, of course, have continuing coverage of the aftermath of Wright's death on TV and online.
