The Dave's Autobody Crunch Time Player(s) of the Game(s) are chosen by WGIL's Tom Meredith and Erik Gibson for Galesburg girls basketball. Brad Bennewtiz and Jeremy Pickrel select the Silver Streaks boys basketball winners.

Here's those who received the honor Monday...

Galesburg boys

vs. Decatur Eisenhower: Carl Dortch. The senior forward came off the bench to ignite a 11-0 run by the Streaks in the first quarter in a 63-46 win against the Panthers. Dortch finished with 12 points — eight points came in the final eight minutes.

Galesburg girls

vs. Altamont: Kiarra Kilgore. The sophomore finished with 30 points and seven rebounds for the Streaks on Monday morning in a 65-56 win over the Indians in Mattoon Holiday Tourney action.

vs. Richland County: Kilgore netted 27 points and grabbed six rebounds in a 57-31 victory over the Tigers on Monday night, and she was named the Dave's Autobody POG for the Streaks.

"Crunch Time" is based on exactly that. It's not a player of the game or a game MVP. It's about who stepped up at a critical point in the game and was a difference-maker. Sometimes it's one play or sometimes it's an individual who made more than one key play. It really could be anything.
