David and Victoria Beckham have been enjoying a super chic vacation this month with their close friends Elton John and David Furnish. In case you missed it: the four even did yacht fashion the right way in designer-clad outfits. And it seems all this time together has caused each group member’s style to rub off on the another. Case and point? David’s just embraced Elton’s signature flamboyant aesthetic—and it looks good on him.

In an Instagram posted by his wife, David is seen wearing a signature Elton piece: large crystal-covered sunglasses. “This is everything,” Victoria exclaimed. He also channelled the singer in a silky Versace printed top that made the case for maximalism. Just a few days ago, the soccer pro had flaunted a Elton-inspired look as well, posing alongside his husband, Furnish, in yet another saucy Versace top.

So, does this mark the beginning of a new style era for David? Will he embrace men’s heels, sequins, and other Elton signatures, too? Considering how great he looks in these flashy getups, we hope it’s a yes.
