The 19-year-old son of David Beckham has achieved a major soccer goal.

Romeo Beckham signed a professional contract with Fort Lauderdale CF, according to ESPN.

Fort Lauderdale FC is the reserve club of the MLS team Inter Miami CF, which his famous father is a co-owner and the president of.

He did not enter Saturday’s game between Fort Lauderdale CF and Chattanooga Red Wolves SC.

Fort Lauderdale CF is part of USL League One.

“We are so proud of you Romeo,” the teenager’s mother, singer and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, commented on his Instagram photo.

David Beckham, 46, is among the most popular soccer players of all time, with a career that spanned more than two decades and included stints with Manchester United, Real Madrid and the LA Galaxy.
