The soccer legend shared the thoughtful present with his followers over the weekend, revealing the details via his Instagram Stories. The first photo shows a close-up view of a bouquet of yellow roses, with a handwritten note tucked between the stems. At the bottom of the photo, Beckham revealed the sweet surprise came from his little girl, saying, “No better way to start Saturday morning than with flowers from my pretty lady.”

At the top of the photo and in a follow-up snapshot, Beckham alluded to the sentimental note card Harper stuck in the “Saturday morning flowers for daddy.” He gushed, “I mean come on seriously, that note,” adding a heart eye emoji. So, what was her message? “Dear Daddy, these flowers are yellow because you are the sun. I love you so much, you are my heart.”

Yep, Beckham makes a solid point: That note is next-level adorable. “You are the sun”? That little Harper may just be destined for a creative career like writing, because her words are pure poetry.

This isn’t the first time in recent weeks that the daddy-daughter duo has given the world a sneak peek into their special bond. Last weekend, he stayed up nearly all night meticulously constructing a Lego Hogwarts castle for Harper — earning him accolades for being the “best daddy.”
