David Schwimmer to appear on CBeebies 'Bedtime Stories'
David Schwimmer is to read the latest CBeebies Bedtime Story.
The Friends star - known to parents as dad of two Ross in the hit US sitcom - will read The Smeds and the Smoos, the latest book from Gruffalo creators Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
The Smeds and the Smoos is a love story of between two aliens whose families do not get on.
Announcing Schwimmer’s appearance on Instagram CBeebie HQ joked: “He was on a break!”

This is in reference to Ross’ famous line in Friends when he cheated on girlfriend Rachel Green, played by Jennifer Aniston.
Schwimmer, 53, has an eight-year-old daughter Cleo with ex-wife, British artist Zoë Buckman. As Ross Geller in Friends he was father to son Ben and daughter Emma.
The actor and director is currently starring as an arrogant NSA agent in new Sky comedy Intelligence and has been in the UK promoting the show.

He is best known for playing scientist Ross in Friends. which ran for 10 seasons between 1994 and 2014. He and his co-stars Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow are currently working on reunion show to celebrate the hit sitcom’s 25th anniversary. It is expected to feature the stars reminiscing and enjoying highlights from the show, rather than a reboot or sequel to the original series.
Schwimmer joins a long line of stars to appear on CBeebies Bedtime Stories, including Sir Elton John, Dolly Parton, Tom Hardy, David Hasselhoff and Simon Pegg.
David Schwimmer's CBeebies Bedtime Story will air on Saturday February 22 at 6.50pm.
