Love Island fans have been turning Sherlock Holmes following Davide Sanclimenti being crowned the winner of the ITV2 dating show alongside his new love Ekin-Su Culculoglu, and have been doing some research on the ‘Italian Stallion’.
The pair triumphed during the programme’s finale on Monday, August 1, which was hosted by Laura Whitmore in the Mallorcan villa.
The Turkish actress from Essex, 27, and the Italian business owner, who lives in Manchester and is also 27, won viewers over with thier passionate relationship.
The self-proclaimed “Italian snack” and “Turkish delight” were crowned winners of the ITV2 dating show after delighting viewers with their fiery yet funny relationship.
The couple beat Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, while Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope came in third, with Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page being placed fourth.
And now, not only have the couple found love, but they’re also £50,000 richer, as they’ve pocketed the prize money, however, it seems that Davide might not care too much about the extra cash.
Despite staying relatively discreet about his profession during the programme, viewers have discovered what he does for a living.

Davide Sanclimenti is a 27-year-old business owner from Rome, Italy, who lives in Manchester.
Despite rarely discussing his finances and career on-air, Davide’s company ‘S Deluxe Shisha’ provides electronic devices from ‘the best manufacturers in the world’ and offers catering services to venues across Manchester.
According to the Mirror, a mission statement on the company’s website, meanwhile, reads: “S Deluxe Shisha is a premium service offered in some of the most exclusive hospitality venues located in North West, England.
“We have partnerships with the most exclusive restaurants and nightclubs around the UK, carrying a wide selection of top-quality hookah products in different shapes and sizes. We offer catering service, with the highest quality of luxury electronic shisha and the purest French-made e-liquids. High-quality ingredients combined with the latest technology on the market.”
Many fans of the show were shocked to learn that Davide owns a Shisha company.
One said: “Davide owning a shisha company is the last thing I expected”.

Speaking before his appearance on the show, Davide revealed that he prefers being in a relationship over dating, saying; “I am a relationship kind of guy, I prefer to be in a relationship but at the same time I don’t do a lot of dates.
“I meet a lot of girls, I meet them on social media or in a restaurant. I really need to be interested in the girl but I’m a relationship kind of guy and prefer to have someone stable near me.”
Girls hoping to impress Davide in the villa need to pay him attention as he says: “If a girl is really rude, or if she’s not giving me enough attention, I will just lose interest very quickly.”
