Davina McCall has given her verdict on the new series of Big Brother.

The TV presenter, who presented the reality TV show during it's original run from 2000 to 2011 on Channel 4, revealed she had tuned in to watch the rebooted show on ITV via her social media.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Davina shared her reaction to the series with her 2.6 million followers.

"How’s it going ?," she tweeted, adding: "I’ve got horrific fomo."

One Twitter user commented on the tweet, suggesting that Davina and fellow TV presenter Rylan Clark, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 and went on to host retired spin-off Big Brother's Bit on the Side, should "start a WhatsApp support group".

"We have," she responded, alongside several laughing face emojis.

New Big Brother hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best made their presenting debut together on last night's launch show (October 8), which saw 16 contestants enter the brand new house.

However, Davina's legacy with the show didn't go unmentioned, with the two paying a sweet tribute to the former host.

"As a wise woman once said, fancy another one?," said AJ and Will, impersonating her famous catch phrase from the original series.
