DaVinci Pizza will reopen Monday

DaVinci Pizza is scheduled to reopen Monday under new ownership, co-owner Chris Bender said.

The business at 505 Linden St. temporarily closed May 28 and has been rebranded as DaVinci Pizza on the Square.

Giovanni Piccolino, co-owner of Buona Pizza, 504 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton, and Bender, who has worked at DaVinci for more than four years, recently took over ownership.

The pizza shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. There will also be a window open to purchase individual slices each Friday and Saturday from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., Bender said.

The shop will be closed each Sunday.
