Davis earns Field Athlete of the Week Honors for 4th Time this Season
KANSAS CITY, Mo — Kyla Davis placed second overall in the pole vault at the University of Arkansas Qualifier last Friday, defeating all NCAA Division I athletes in the event.
The Yukon, Okla., native cleared 13 feet, 10.5 inches (4.23 meters) in the meet.
Davis is ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division II this season in the discipline. Davis was honored as the MIAA Field Athlete of the Week in four of the six weeks in the 2023-24 indoor season.
Davis and the Gorillas are set to compete in the MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend in Topeka.
