ZEELAND — Members of the Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently laid wreaths on the gravesites of 58 veterans at West Drenthe Cemetery in Zeeland.

The project was part of National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, Dec. 16, and signifies a continued commitment to honor and remember the sacrifices made by fallen heroes.

Cyndie Hartmann, media chairperson, said DAR chapters and members have participated in wreath-laying for many years. The Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton Chapter has supported the mission since 2019.
