We did it! By "we," we mean the listeners, readers, and contributions who've made 365 weather history podcasts. This Day In Weather History is a daily podcast by The Weather Network that features unique and informative stories from host Chris Mei.

Throughout history, there are some very obvious weather-based events. This includes the tornadoes, tsunamis, volcanoes, hurricanes, snowstorms, rainstorms, ice storms and earthquakes of our Earth.

But there are also just the every day events where weather maybe didn't make the headline during the original news coverage. "This Day In Weather History" loves to cover all aspects of weather's impact on our daily lives.

Some favourites from the past year have been Mount St. Helens eruption caused the worst landslide in world history, New England's Dark Day was so eerie some thought it was the Day of Judgment, and An outdoor graduation to remember, the 'SNOW-mencement' of 2019.

"This Day In Weather History" is a podcast, but we love to share the stories through articles and videos. And highlights on TV too. Through each medium, we're able to share stories, photos, and videos of some of the most significant events in world history.

Though we're a Canadian production team, and definitely enjoy telling national stories, we love discovering and covering weather histories from around the world.

The production team is not limited to The Weather Network employees; listeners and readers send in memories from events that have impacted them. Thanks so much to those who've contributed. Thanks to everyone who has listened to the podcast (wherever you've listened), read an article, watched a video, liked a tweet, or shared a Facebook post.

For 365 days, we've covered one weather-impacted event each day. Meaning, there are still so many more stories to tell.
