Dayton Metro Library’s new Northmont branch opened to the public Saturday.
The more than 19,000-square-foot building will feature a quiet reading room for adults, collaborative meeting spaces, learning spaces and more.
Artwork by local artists will also be featured throughout the building.
The new branch was made possible by a $187 million bond issue that was passed by Montgomery County voters in 2012.
DML said they are continuing to work on its new Huber Heights branch which is expected to open this Spring.
