Dayton’s newest rooftop restaurant to open near Day Air Ballpark

Dayton’s newest rooftop restaurant will open its doors to customers today.

The Foundry, located atop the newly opened AC Hotel Dayton in the heart of the Water Street District, will be open to the public near Day Air Ballpark at the 100 block of Madison Street, according to a spokesperson.

It will serve American gastropub dishes touched by a flame in addition to artisanal cocktails while enjoying rooftop views.

“We’ve created a place where diners can taste new flavors and ingredients in dishes that offer a sense of familiarity and adventure all in one,” said Chef David Belknap.

The menu includes starters, pizzas, and other flavorful dishes from the hearth.

The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. and on select Sundays for Dayton Dragons games. Dinner service will stop at 10 p.m.
