Daytona 500 a complete sellout, Speedweek tickets remain

DAYTONA BEACH — NASCAR’s 75th anniversary season will open in front of a full house.

Daytona International Speedway has announced a complete sellout for Sunday's running of the 65th Daytona 500. It marks the eighth-straight year the Great American Race has sold every ticket.

“From the roar of the USAF Thunderbirds overhead to the sight of the sellout crowd on their feet as the field takes the green flag for the Daytona 500, there will be no place more electric than Daytona International Speedway this Sunday afternoon,” track president Frank Kelleher said.

“Now there will be an even bigger spotlight on Thursday night’s Bluegreen Vacation Duel races, where fans will get to see the likes of seven-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson and X Games gold medalist Travis Pastrana attempt to race their way into The Great American Race,” he continued.

In January, a grandstand and camping sellout was announced but the remaining spots, including UNOH Fanzone admissions and other hospitality options, have now been exhausted as well.

While no tickets remain for Sunday’s main event, which will broadcast on Fox beginning at 2:30 p.m., fans can still see plenty of racing throughout Speedweek beginning Wednesday night with Cup Series qualifying. Seats are also still available for Thursday night’s two 150-mile Duels, Friday night’s Craftsman Truck Series NextEra Energy 250 and Saturday’s doubleheader featuring the ARCA 200 followed by the 300-mile Xfinity Series opener.

In addition to an update for this week, next year’s 66th Daytona 500 was confirmed by the Speedway for Feb. 18, 2024. Fans can begin renewing tickets immediately and presale options are also available.
