Daytona's Peabody Auditorium hosts Aaron Lewis this week as part of busy fall schedule

A busy fall slate of concerts continues this week at Peabody Auditorium as Staind frontman Aaron Lewis embraces his country roots on his solo “American Patriot Acoustic Tour” on Thursday at the landmark concert hall in Daytona Beach.

At the Peabody, expect Lewis to showcase material from his 2022 solo release, “Frayed at Both Ends,” powered by the single "Am I the Only One."

In addition to his solo work, Lewis also has been busy with Staind, which released its first studio album in 12 years, “Confessions of the Fallen,” in September.

Killer Queen — A Tribute to Queen

According to the band’s website, Killer Queen formed in June 1993, performing its first public shows at London University, following in the footsteps of the band they honor that had played its first shows there 22 years earlier. Two decades later, the tribute band is still on the road.

Hotel California — A Salute to the Eagles

This Southern California tribute act is touted as the only show to have “official authorization” to perform the Eagles catalog of music. The show incorporates the Eagles’ signature harmonies as well as specialty instruments to showcase hits such as “Take It Easy,” “Heartache Tonight,” “Hotel California,” among others.

Showtime: 8 p.m. Oct. 28 at Peabody Auditorium, Daytona Beach. Tickets: $51-$115 at Ticketmaster.

Orquesta Sinfónica De Minería —  Minería Symphony Orchestra of Mexico

The opening concert of the Daytona Symphony Society's fall season features the Minería Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Carlos Miguel Prieto, recognized as the leading Mexican conductor of his generation.

The performance also spotlights highly acclaimed international pianist Gabriela Montero, who will be featured in a performance of "Latin Concerto" as part of a program that also includes Carlos Chavez's Symphony No. 2 “Sinfonia India” and "Kauyumari," an orchestral composition by the Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz.
