Gambling is legal in 48 states, in some capacity. By 2023, the global online gambling market is anticipated to be valued at more than 92.9 billion, according to Statista. Despite the boom in internet gambling, brick and mortar casinos are still attracting players who want the live, in-person experience. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many casinos closed (and some remain closed), which has led to a loss of revenue.

Located about 35 miles west of Hong Kong, Macau is regarded as Asia's gaming capital. It's referred to as the "Monte Carlo of the East," and rightfully so. The city boasts more than 30 casinos. The Venetian Macau is a re-creation of the Vegas property (but at twice its size).
