DC police search for suspect in Baltimore man's killing

D.C. police said officers spotted the suspect wanted in connection with the killing of a Baltimore man in August. The Metropolitan Police Department announced Tuesday morning that officers saw a man matching the description of Avery Miler in the 5300 block of Ames Street NE. Police say he fired shots at officers and fled to residential building. Police said shortly before 10 a.m. that officers set up a perimeter in which they believe Miler is located inside, and officers continued to search.
