DC Studios has addressed allegations from Amber Heard regarding the behavior of Jason Momoa and James Wan during the filming of "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom."

Court allegations: Heard's allegations, documented during her high-profile legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp held in Fairfax County, Virginia, last year, were brought to light via Heard's therapist's notes as part of her legal case.

"Jason said he wanted me fired," the notes say, according to Variety. "Jason drunk -- late on set. Dressing like Johnny. Has all the rings too."

Comments against James Wan: The notes also framed the film’s director, James Wan, as unsupportive of Heard. Wan purportedly treated Heard unfairly during filming which coincided with the case’s pre-trial.

“He raised his voice @ me — ‘I can’t even post about Aquaman’ — made it like it was my fault – I said ‘I’m sorry,’” says the notes in reference to Wan. “Nobody could take selfies with me on set given blackout.”

While presiding judge Andrew Nicol ruled the notes as inadmissible on hearsay grounds, the allegations have raised questions about the professionalism of Momoa and Wan on set.

DC pushes back: In a statement to Variety, a spokesperson at DC countered Heard's claims, noting that Momoa “conducted himself in a professional manner at all times on the set of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.’”

The DC spokesperson also reacted to Wan’s characterization, stating that the filmmaker is “known for treating members of his cast and crew with the utmost respect and for fostering a positive, collaborative environment on set — the ‘Aquaman’ films were no exception.”

Insider feedback: Variety also cited a source privy to the production in London who shared that Heard and Momoa appeared to be getting along well at the time.

“Jason works his ass off, likes to have a beer once in a while like everyone, but doesn’t show up drunk to set,” the insider noted. “And he isn’t dressing like Johnny Depp. He has always dressed in that bohemian style.”
