Deadline for the Salvation Army's Angel Tree is Dec. 7

Nov. 28—There is still time to be an angel for children in Grady and Caddo Counties.

Through the Salvation Army of Grady and Caddo Counties' Angel Tree program, residents can provide Christmas gifts for children who otherwise might not receive a present.

To participate, residents can pick up an "angel" from the Christmas tree at the following locations: Walmart (Chickasha and Anadarko), Beall's Outlet in Chickasha, the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce, First National Bank & Trust and the Salvation Army Chickasha Office.

Each "angel" represents a child in the area as well as a wish list. These gifts may be dropped off at either the Chickasha or Anadarko Salvation Army Office by Dec. 7.

The Salvation Army of Grady and Caddo Counties has also set up an Online Walmart Registry to purchase toys, click here.

In Chickasha, there are also toy drives at Chickasha Chiropractic Clinic, Beall's Outlet, Liberty National Bank and Standley Systems.

According to the Salvation Army of Grady and Caddo Counties, there are 394 children and 63 teenage siblings enrolled in the Angel Tree program this year.
