A rare tornado killed one person and injured at least nine in the city of Zierikzee, the Netherlands, on June 27, according to regional emergency services.

According to the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute, tornadoes are rare in the country. The last time a fatal tornado struck the Netherlands was in 1992.
