Deadly Tropical Storm Laura Leaves Streets Flooded in Santo Domingo Este

Four people were reportedly killed in the Dominican Republic and several more died in neighboring Haiti as Topical Storm Laura swept across the Caribbean towards Cuba on Sunday, August 23.

This video shows flooded streets in Santo Domingo Este, in the Dominican Republic, on the Sunday morning. Local news reports said several buildings collapsed in the La Yuca, a neighborhood in the Los Rios area of Santo Domingo, the nation’s capital.
