Rob Liefeld has responded to concerned movie-goers who were worried about the franchise's future, particularly after the Disney-Fox merger.
However, writing to one fan on Twitter, the creator said: "It will totally happen!!! Soon!"
This isn't the first time that Liefeld has reassured everyone about Deadpool 3, saying earlier this year: "Nothing like deadlines to clear your head... let me be clear Deadpool 3 will happen, some form, some fashion.
"That's not a concern to me. Disney paid $60 billion for Fox and Deadpool is most valuable asset in today's market. Makes more than X-Men films."
While a third movie is yet to be confirmed, Marvel boss Kevin Feige previously said that Deadpool's winning foul-mouthed formula would not be tinkered with under Disney, despite the company's family-focused mantra.
"When we were purchased, [Disney CEO] Bob [Iger] said to us, 'If it's not broke, don't fix it'," he said. "There's no question that Deadpool is working, so why would we change it?"
One actor who's keen to see their Deadpool character in the MCU is Josh Brolin, who recently said of Cable: "I don't know what's going to happen. I've been calling them, like, 'What's the deal with Cable, man?' Seriously, 100% serious. They're figuring it out.
"It's a big world now, it just got much, much bigger. So who knows."
