  • Bachelor’s Dean Unglert opened up about his relationship with Caelynn Miller-Keyes and said it’s “monumentally different” than his other connections.

  • He also explained why he and Caelynn don’t follow each other on Instagram.

Good afternoon, Bachelor Nation! Bachelor in Paradise might be over, but the aftermath from the season is (thankfully) still unfolding.

You may recall that Dean Unglert and his mustache (and his van!) found lurve with Caelynn Miller-Keyes on the beach in Mexico, and it looks like those two crazy kids are still going strong! Dean just shared the details of their relationship with Us, saying that it’s “monumentally different” than his past relationships. He explains, “I have a better understanding of who I am than I had before and that allows the relationship to flourish a lot more.”

He also pointed out that he and Caelynn purposefully don’t follow each other on Instagram, saying, “I don’t like doing what’s expected of me and I feel that with couples, especially those coming out of this franchise, we’re expected to follow each other on Instagram, do interviews together to have this happy couple image. I want to break out of that mold and be the couple that never does interviews together, doesn’t follow each other on Instagram.”

Dean adds that Caelynn “kind of hates it sometimes, but it’s kind of funny. She’s on board with it. It’s a silly thing to be doing, but it’s also fun.”

And as ~*alternative*~ as Dean and Caelynn are trying to be on social media, they still post pretty standard smiley couples pics like this:

But sure, if not following Caelynn on Instagram makes him feel rebellious, go for it! You keep doing you, Dean!
