Death investigation underway in Sweetwater

SWEETWATER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A death investigation is currently underway in Sweetwater.

Sweetwater police confirm Chasity Nelson, 23, was found deceased January 27.

Officials say her cause of death is still under investigation and no information on if foul play is suspected is available at this time.

“An extensive investigation is underway within our Criminal Investigations Unit to ensure any potential witness or involved party is identified and contacted as we continue our investigation,” a press release explains.
