Death investigation underway for toddler found in apartment complex swimming pool: LaGrange Police

LaGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — A death investigation is underway in LaGrange after a two-year-old child went missing and was later found in an apartment complex swimming pool, according to the LaGrange Police Department.

Police responded to Cameron Crossing on Meadow Terrace at 8:27 p.m. on Sunday. Officers met with the family of the missing children and determined a two-year-old and four-year-old had left their apartment without an adult knowing.

The four-year-old was found in the parking lot. Police say the two-year-old was found in the complex’s swimming pool.

The child was taken to Well Star West Georgia where she was pronounced dead, according to authorities.
