Wizards of Winter returns to Canton Palace Theatre

The Wizards of Winter, a holiday rock opera, returns to the Canton Palace Theatre on Saturday.

The family friendly event features musicians who have performed with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Rainbow, and Alice Cooper and Ted Nugent's bands.

Tickets, $34, $49 and $69, for the 8 p.m. show are available online at https://cantonpalacetheatre.org and by calling the box office at 330-454-8172. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at the Palace Theatre, 605 Market Ave. N.

Winter Blitz opening at the Hall of Fame Village

The opening of the Hall of Fame Village's new holiday season attraction called Winter Blitz is Saturday.

Located at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium on the Hall of Fame Village entertainment campus, the attraction includes a 35-foot tubing hill that crosses an end zone. Fireworks will be 7:45 p.m. Saturday.

Craft vendors will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the locker rooms of the stadium.

Vox Audio performing 'Believe' at the Cultural Center

The a cappella singing group Vox Audio will perform holiday-themed shows on Saturday and Sunday on the Main Stage of the Cultural Center for the Arts in downtown Canton.

Presented by Sing Stark!, the shows are at 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Reserved tickets are $20 and available at https://www.singstark.org or by calling the box office at 330-452-4098.

The Stewart Manor House will be illuminated for the holidays at Quail Hollow Park from Friday through Dec. 20.

The house is part of "Deck the Hollow Holiday Lights Walk," which includes decorated trees and music at the park at 13480 Congress Lake Ave. NE in the Hartville area. The event is 5 to 8:30 p.m. from Dec. 16-20. The cost is $5 per person with pre-registration at https://starkparks.com/parks/quail-hollow-park/ and $6 at the door.

Canton concert featuring 'White Christmas' music

The MacDowell Music Club of Canton is sponsoring a Christmas concert at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cable Recital Hall at the Cultural Center for the Arts in downtown Canton.

Laurel Seeds, soprano, and Ken Kramer, bass, will present the free concert while accompanied by Michelle Makhlouf, who will also perform piano solos. The concert features a medley of songs from the musical, "White Christmas."

Free parking is available by telling the parking attendant that you are attending a MacDowell Club event.

Holiday-themed adventure at Escape Room

The Escape Room in downtown Canton has added the Christmas game, “Elf Hunt!”

Designed for all ages, the game is a 45-minute "adventure into Santa's workshop," where guests find themselves on tour at the North Pole workshop on Christmas Eve when something is amiss.

Two to eight people can participate per game with a cost of $26 per person for ages 12 and older and $16.50 for ages 8 to 11.

Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday; 5 to 10 p.m. Friday; noon to 10 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The Escape Room will be open afternoons and evenings Dec. 26-31. Reservations may be made at www.escaperoomdowntown.com or by calling 330-844-1492.
