What is Deep Water about?

British Octogenarian Adrian Lyne—the master director of erotic thrillers like 9 ½ Weeks, Fatal Attraction, Indecent Proposal and Unfaithful—returns from a 20-year hiatus to helm Deep Water. Adapting the suspenseful and steamy Highsmith novel for the screen are Euphoria’s Sam Levinson and Zach Helm (Stranger Than Fiction). The twisty tale of psychological warfare sparked a brief and fiery on-set romance between stars Affleck and De Armas. Talking to Vogue Spain, Affleck said that co-star De Armas “was going to do something exceptional with a very complex role.”

Affleck and De Armas are joined by Tony Award-Winning Tracy Letts, Rachel Blanchard, Dash Mihok, Lil Rel Howery, Jacob Elordi, Finn Wittrock, and Kristen Connolly.
