'Deer Deterrent': Animal Appears to Immediately Regret Sniffing Shoes Left Outside Kentucky Home
A man in Bronston, Kentucky, joked that he’s found a “new deer deterrent” after one recently took a whiff of his shoes and immediately fled the scene.
Security footage posted to Facebook by Ray Smith on August 16 shows the curious deer approaching the boating shoes he’d left outside, appearing to take one quick sniff before making a run for it — knocking over a plant in the process.
Smith told Storyful that he’d been out boating all day in the shoes, and set them on the front porch to dry, remarking that deer “ran as fast as it could” after inspecting them.
