Defenders destroy Russian electronic warfare station on Tavriia front

Over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers on the Tavriia front destroyed an R-330Zh Zhitel (Russian for "Inhabitant") electronic warfare station, a multiple-launch rocket system, four tanks, and 12 armoured combat vehicles.

Details: Over the past day, Russians have launched 13 air strikes, conducted 24 combat clashes and carried out 915 artillery attacks.

Units of the Rocket Forces and Artillery of the Defence Forces of Ukraine's south completed 1,270 fire tasks during the day.

According to Tarnavskyi, over the past day, Russian losses on the Tavriia front amounted to 323 people, in particular, two Russians surrendered.

Quote: "44 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, four tanks, 12 armoured vehicles, six artillery systems, 1 MLRS, 9 UAVs, ten units of automobile and special equipment of the invaders. 2 ammunition depots and another important enemy facility were also destroyed."

Background: On 6 October, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that in the past 24 hours, Russia lost approximately 620 servicemen, 31 artillery systems, 20 tanks and 30 armoured combat vehicles.
