The head of state said that the participants discussed inclement weather and difficulties in the defense of the Lyman, Bakhmut, Donetsk, and Avdiivka sections of the front, as well as offensive actions on the southern front.

Zelenskyy noted that during the call, intelligence officials provided relevant updates about international dynamics and developments, as well as insights into the enemy's potential plans and intentions.

"At this stage, the Russian army has made convicts the main source of replenishment of losses on the battlefield," Zelenskyy added.

The president said he was also given reports on the elimination of the consequences of the shelling of civilian infrastructure in Kherson, Beryslav, and Nikopol. In particular, the Russian forces hit the water supply network in Nikopol.

"Services are working to restore water supply to people. My office is keeping it under control," he added.

In addition, Zelenskyy reported that the Black Sea "grain corridor" initiative continued to yield positive results, with cargo transportation volumes reaching record highs over the past few days.
