Deion Sanders says his goal is to take 'one step' inside Mercedes-Benz stadium at Celebration Bowl

Deion Sanders has been recovering from foot surgery for nearly two months. He had surgery in October, then was hospitalized for nearly a month and missed three games.

When he first returned to the team after being released from the hospital, he was in a motorized wheelchair. Most recently, at the SWAC championship game, he was on a scooter.

Either way, he's still having trouble walking. That's why he said in a video on Instagram on Monday that he has a goal of being able to take one step when he gets to Atlanta for the Celebration Bowl.

"Let me tell y'all the dream, let me tell you the goal, come closer I need you to talk to me," Sanders said. "My goal is, you know we're going to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Used to be the Georgia Dome. Used to be my house, I built that thing. My goal is to take one step. I want to take one step. In order to do that I need you praying for me. Let's go."
