Jan. 5—Del Norte senior guard Shane Douma-Sanchez poured in a career-high 60 points Tuesday night in his team's loss to Eldorado, 72-67, at the Albuquerque Metro Basketball Championships.

The 60-point total is, according to record keeping by the New Mexico Activities Association, the most ever scored in a single game by any boy at any Albuquerque high school, public or private.
