Beach season is here, starting our annual pilgrimage to Delaware's warm sand and crashing waves.

But finding that perfect secluded spot on the beach to claim your piece of summer bliss is getting more difficult.

On most weekends, the parking lots at State Park beaches are full before 10 a.m., families are squeezed in tight on the sand with sometimes only a few feet between them, and lines at restaurants and ice cream stands often stretch down the boardwalk.
