Delaware Gov. John Carney tests positive for COVID-19 a second time

Gov. John Carney has tested positive a second time for COVID-19 after feeling mild symptoms on Friday night.

The governor, who is fully vaccinated and double boosted against the virus, tested positive through an at-home antigen test, according to the governor’s office.

He confirmed the news via Twitter.

“I tested positive for COVID-19 so I’ll be working from home the next several days. Thankfully, I just have mild symptoms. Still look forward to watching the Eagles in the NFC Championship tomorrow. Go Birds!” Carney wrote.

Carney first tested positive for the virus back in May and experienced mild symptoms. He was able to continue working remotely while in isolation.
