Delaware Man Feels Like a 'Storm Chaser' as He Passes Tornado

A confirmed tornado made landfall south of Harrington, Delaware, on July 1, the National Weather Service said.

The tornado was one of two to impact the area on Thursday, local news reported. Both tornadoes were rated EF1, which can mean wind speeds up to 110 miles per hour. The tornadoes damaged trees and structures, Delaware Online said.
