Delmar Loop Ice Carnival returns for 17th annual celebration

ST. LOUIS – The 17th Annual Delmar Loop Ice Carnival is set to return this Saturday, January 20, starting at 11 a.m. The carnival promises a delightful array of activities, including ice sculpting, temporary tattoo scavenger hunts, and a petting zoo.

St. Louis Blues Mascot, Louie, will be providing visitors with the opportunity to meet and greet throughout the day.

With over 50 ice sculptures, the event will feature live ice carving demonstrations starting at 1 p.m. at Fitz Delmar, presented by Full Spectrum Ice. Embracing an ice theme, the carnival offers a unique giveaway – an ice cube giveaway. Most of the distributed ice cubes will contain chocolate coins, while one lucky recipient might discover a real gold coin.
