Delta County to unveil additional 24-hour ballot drop box

DELTA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) — Delta County announced Thursday a new 24-hour ballot drop box will be available for voters starting Feb. 12. The addition is part of a wider initiative in Delta County to ensure all voters have continuous and secure access to place their vote.

The drop box will be at Crawford Town Hall at 425 Highway 92. Officials say other key features of the 24-hour ballot boxes include around-the-clock camera surveillance at each location, bipartisan collection teams to ensure a fair process and emergency contact numbers posted on each box.

Our committment to facilitating an accessible and secure voting process is stronger than ever. The new 24-hour ballot drop box at Crawford Town Hall and other locations in Delta County reflects our dedication to ensuring every voter has the opportunity to participate in our democracy, regardless of their demanding schedule.
