Demand not waning for COVID-19 tests in Maryland after holiday

Demand for COVID-19 tests surged across central Maryland before and after the holiday weekend -- and it's not waning anytime soon. In Howard County and across Maryland, demand for COVID-19 tests is high and supply is low. And the signs were hard to miss. Hundreds of cars idled Monday in downtown Columbia at a drive-thu COVID-19 testing site at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Health officials said the line had already started forming by 6 a.m. Monday.
