Demi Lovato is coming to the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park — and she's ready to rock.

Lovato, who makes her Summer Stage debut on June 16 as part of the new North 2 Shore Festival, recently released a rock version of her single, "Heart Attack."

“I’m so happy to be able to give a new life to ‘Heart Attack’ with a sound that reflects where I am with my music," said Lovato in a statement. "This one is for the fans who have shown so much love to the song over the last decade. Thank you for riding with me!”

Lovato, the former "Camp Rock" star whose hits include "Sorry Not Sorry," has battled addiction, mental illness and eating disorders to remain one of the music's biggest hitmakers. Tickets for the Pony concert start at $105 through Ticketmaster.

Demi Lovato performs Dec. 9 during Z100's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2022 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The big North 2 Shore is a three-week music and tech fest slated for venues in Newark, Asbury Park and Atlantic City. The B-52s Summer Stage show on June 17 is also part of the fest. Visit northtoshore.com for more info.

As for the 2023 Stone Pony Summer Stage season, there are several more notable debuts this year, including local rising star Fletcher on June 4; New Jersey underground ska legends Streetlight Manifesto on June 24; and prog metallers Incubus on Aug. 8.

In a bit of a change, there is no Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes annual Fourth of July weekend show this year. Instead, Johnny and the Jukes play Saturday, Sept. 2, on Labor Day weekend. Elsewhere, they play the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on June 23 (also part of the North 2 Shore festival) and July 17 at the Ocean City Music Pier.

The Connecticut jam band Goose plays July 3 and 4 on the Summer Stage.

As for the Summer Stage experience, look for more bar space for points of service at the shows, plus Rocco's Pizza, Bubbakoo's Burritos and more for dining options, management said. The music starts early this year with the Frank Turner and the Interrupters show on May 13. Check out the 2023 season schedule below.

“Judging by the demand for our shows this year, it must just be me who is not ready for it to be summer yet,” quipped general manager Caroline O'Toole.
