Demi Lovato Celebrated Her Birthday By Blowing Out Her Candles With Ariana Grande

Birthdays are always a cause for celebration—but if you're Demi Lovato, they're cause for multiple celebrations, cakes, and celebrities. Because duh!

Lovato spent the night before her 27th birthday backstage at friend Ariana Grande's London stop on her Sweetener tour. Before the show, Lovato shared a sweet video of Grande and her crew giving Lovato a chant before hitting the stage.

Throughout the show, Demi shared photos and videos of herself rocking out to Grande's performance, but the true pinnacle birthday moment was when Grande, Scooter Braun (yeah, the guy who was wrapped up in all the Taylor Swift drama who is also Grande and Lovato's manger), and some friends sang "Happy Birthday" to Lovato...two times apparently. The singer shared that Braun actually forgot to record their first rendition, so they had to do it over again. Stars (and their managers!), they're just like us.

The video ends with Grande's truly baffled face which her friend couldn't help but comment on.

"@arianagrande’s face is everything and this video is a perfect glimpse of how fucking happy and rad my birthday is this year. So so happy. And I love my new family. Thank you guys, love you 🙏🏼🙌🏼" Lovato wrote on the post.

"...... i’m still ......... ?" Grande wrote in a comment. Same.

And this wasn't the only cake Lovato would receive for her birthday (obvs!). None other than Will Ferrell "baked" her a cake in celebration (though she had her suspicions it was store-bought!) after it was announced she'd join him in the comedy "Eurovision."
