Demi Lovato Sneakily Dropped The 'L' Bomb In New Instagram With Boyfriend Max Ehrich

Demi Lovato has kept a lot of things about her love life on the DL lately (she never even publicly acknowledged the fact that she went out with national treasure Mike Johnson a few times). So it’s definitely a BFD that she’s posting a lot on Instagram about her new boyfriend, Max Ehrich.

Demi just shared a couples pic that suggests the two are pretty serious. In it, she’s hanging out in a pool—wearing really cool red shades, btw—as Max wraps his arms around her and leans in to kiss her neck. It’s steamy, and she looks super happy. "ilysfmiai @maxehrich.. ❤️😝," she wrote in the caption. (FYI: "ilysfmiai" translates to "I love you so f*cking much, it's actually insane.")

This isn’t the first time she’s opened up about Max on the 'gram—she did that in early May when she captioned a video of herself and Max with this sweet sentiment: "Happy to be a part of something so special right now. Like really REALLY happy if you can’t tell... #stuckwithu."

He's an Emmy-nominated actor.

Max might not be a household name, but he’s been nominated for an Emmy four times before, according to his Instagram bio. He’s best known for appearing on The Young and the Restless and Under the Dome, and he most recently appeared in the Lifetime series American Princess.

Max is also a singer.

Max has shared a few Instagram videos of himself belting out songs and yeah, the guy's got a great voice. Apparently, he’s working on something big, because he recently shared that he has new music coming "soon." Could a couples collab be in the works for these two?!

Not to mention, he's easy on the eyes.

Apparently, he isn’t all that into wearing shirts, because Demi's beau has shared plenty of pics and videos of himself sans top on Instagram.

In late May, Max shared screenshot of a tweet he posted back in 2011 that said this: "All I wanted for Christmas was Demi Lovato. #CantAlwaysGetWhatYouWant."

Maybe all those shirtless pics were to get her attention? If so, the strategy clearly worked.

It’s not totally clear how Max and Demi got together, but they seem really happy.

People started to notice something might be going on between the two in March, after Demi and Max started sliding into each other’s Instagram comments. "Max is very into music and health, and he doesn't like to party," a source told E! at the time. "He is a good influence on Demi, and they have a lot in common. They have a few mutual friends in common, but Demi has been introducing Max to her closest friends via Facetime since being quarantined. It's very new, but they are definitely hanging out and seeing where it leads." Another source told E! that the two are "falling in love."
