Deming police investigate armed robbery at Sam's Smoke Shop
DEMING – Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Sunday evening at Sam’s Smoke Shop, 200 S. Silver Avenue.
According to a Deming police report issued Monday, A male subject, concealed by a black face mask and a dark blue zippered hoodie, entered the shop, and presented a small pistol to an employee.
Deming police said the subject left the shop with $800 in cash and no one was injured in the robbery. It was unclear if the subject left on foot or in a vehicle.
Police gave no further description of the male subject and officers stated the investigation into this armed robbery is ongoing.
