Demonstrators protest CHP after protester thrown from patrol car

Community activists made their voices heard in the streets Thursday night after a protester who climbed on top of a California Highway Patrol vehicle was thrown from the vehicle. On Monday, a group was marching around McClellan Park against President Donald Trump, who was visiting Sacramento County to get a briefing on California wildfires. Video of the incident showed the protester climb on top of the CHP patrol car. When the officer accelerates, the protester rolls off and is thrown into the street.
