Denison University African, Caribbean student association hosting Africa Night

Denison University's African and Caribbean Student Association presents: Africa Night 2023! at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, in the Burke Recital Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts, located 240 W. Broadway. The event is free and open to the public, however tickets are required. This annual event is centered around empowering Africans and the diaspora on campus through a great celebration of culture, achievements, and beauty. This year's theme is "The Crown: Reclaiming your Royalty." Join Denison students in taking back ownership of their crowns and riches featuring a special guest host! The show will include aesthetic forms of music, dance, fashion, spoken word, drumming, visual art and more. Also interact with vendors featuring authentic skin and hair care products, accessories, and artwork made by artists within the diaspora.
