Denison University announces March 2023 music concerts

  • Thursday and Friday, March 2, and 3, at 7 p.m.: The Vail Series welcomes Terence Blanchard featuring the E-Collective, Turtle Island Quartet & Andrew F. Scott, Celebrating the work of Gordon Parks in the Sharon Martin Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 W Broadway). Ticketed event.

  • Tuesday, March 7, at 7 p.m.: The Department of Music presents the Denison University Orchestra directed by Philip Rudd, this performance will showcase the student winners of the annual Denison Concerto-Aria Competition, accompanied by the Denison Symphony Orchestra in the Sharon Martin Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway). Ticketed event.

  • Wednesday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m.: The Department of Music presents a piano recital by guest artist Thomas Rosenkranz in the Sharon Martin Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway). Ticketed event.

  • Thursday, March 23, at 12 p.m.: The Department of Music presents a series of student recitals in the Burke Recital Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway).

  • Thursday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m.: The Department of Music presents a program of sacred music and sound, Tiny TUTTI Festival: "Awakening the Sound" in the Hylbert Family Studio Theatre in the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway).

  • Friday, March 24, 7:30 p.m.: The Department of Music presents the Denison University Gospel Choir and Wind Ensemble, Tiny TUTTI Festival: "Come Sunday" in the Sharon Martin Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 W Broadway). Ticketed event.

  • Monday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m.: The Department of Music presents a senior degree recital by Ally Peterson in the Burke Recital Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway).

  • Tuesday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m.: The Department of Music presents a senior degree recital by pianist Ellie Blasko in the Burke Recital Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway).

  • Wednesday, March 29, at 7:30 p.m.: The Department of Music presents a piano recital by guest artist Tatjana Rankovich in the Burke Recital Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway).

  • Thursday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m.: The Department of Music presents a senior degree recital by Blythe Dahlem in the Burke Recital Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway).

  • Friday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m.: The Department of Music presents a senior degree recital in composition by Parker Bailey in the Burke Recital Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway).
