Dennis Rodman allegedly slapped a guest at his birthday party for no reason

Former Chicago Bulls forward Dennis Rodman could be in trouble with the law after he allegedly slapped a guest at his birthday party, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Jeff Soulouque is looking to press charges after the 58-year-old Rodman allegedly “open-hand smacked” Soulouque at a party. Soulouque claims he was “blindsided” by Rodman, who reportedly immediately apologized and invited Soulouque to dinner to make it for it.

When Soulouque woke up the next morning, he noticed swelling on his face and decided to report the incident to police. Soulouque claims he suffered injuries to both his face and eye.

Rodman’s attorney, Lorne Berkeley, denies the event ever happened.

Police are currently investigating the issue. Rodman has not been arrested or charged.

Finding video evidence of the slap might be difficult. The area in which it allegedly occurred is not covered by security cameras.

At least one eyewitness claims they saw the slap, though. David Lee Roth — amazingly not the former lead singer of Van Halen — said he saw Rodman smack Soulouque two times.

Randomly slapping a guest at his own birthday party doesn’t rate as one of the most absurd things to happen during Rodman’s retirement. Rodman has become extremely close with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in recent years. In early May, Rodman was accused of stealing a 400-pound crystal from a yoga studio.
