The Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls has been nominated for "Arena of the Year" at the Academy of Country Music Awards, according to an announcement by the center Thursday.

The Premier Center was nominated alongside five other arenas in the "Industry Awards" main category. The 2023 ACM award ceremony will air May 11.

“This nomination is a huge honor," Mike Krewson, general manager of the Premier Center, said in a press release. "Out of all the thousands of arenas in the country, to be one of the top six is humbling. This is why we work as hard as we do for the guests and touring artists."
