Thick fog blanketed Washington, DC, during the morning commute on Tuesday, November 1, videos posted to social media show.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the area on Tuesday morning.

Video posted by Twitter user @RiverGirl707 on Tuesday shows heavy fog over the Anacostia River obscuring the view of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in Washington.
